Music is one of the key elements of your wedding! You'll replay the melodies and harmonies remembering the deep emotion they bring forth from your special wedding day over and over again for years to come.
Multistyle Classical Guitarist John Chapman extends himself to learn new songs not in his repertoire and will provide you with in person or conference call meeting prior to your wedding date where you will hear live song samples to help you select the special ceremony songs for your processionals and recessional that feel right for you.
Clients enjoy from 1 to 5 Ceremony Song Selections in total and benefit from John Chapman's experience and helpful recommendations during the consultation process via phone, in person and email to help you elegantly frame your ceremony processionals and recessional with excellent solo guitar music that will create the right mood for your specific wedding ceremony
John Chapman extends him self to learn and perform 1 - 2 Special Ceremony Music Song Selections or Stylistic Improvisations not in his repertoire and helps you choose from songs in his repertoire totaling up to 5 songs if necessary to create the perfect mood for your ceremony (or parts of songs, in that depending on how long the ceremony walkway for processionals is, sometimes songs become parts of songs, about 45 - 90 seconds of music). Please ask for a pdf file of John's repertoire emailed to you.
Your ceremony music song selection finalization details are best discussed by phone or in person with minimal emails. Emails are best for sending Mp3's and you Tube links and for basic questions about the music. All discussions; by phone or in person about ceremony song selections can total up to a 45-minute music consultation including a few extra emails within reason are included in all rate quotes. Additional ceremony song discussion contact above 45-minutes an additional fee of $100 per hour will be applied in a prorated fashion rounded up in 15-minute intervals. New ceremony songs, not in John's repertoire requiring more than 8-hours of practice an additional fee of $50 to $200 per song would be applied. Clients please understand that Any extra practice time necessary is the exception, but in special cases when extra practice time is needed that would be communicated up-front after John Chapman receives your ceremony song You Tube link, MP3 or CD Audio selections and reviews them.

You Tube Links are great for initial contact, to see if I can perform a song BUT if No MP3 is available after your date is secured You Tube Links are subject to approval because often learning a song this way can take longer due to the inherent limitations of the internet over an MP3 or Audio CD. ABOUT RATES
Due to the myriad of factors inherent when providing excellent multistyle classical guitar performances and services I have NO one-rate fits all approach. Some factors included that influence my wedding ceremony and cocktail/dinner hour rates service are: specific wedding ceremony music needs, amount of processional songs performed that are not in my repertoire, speakerphone or in person music consultation, total performance time, special set-up requirements, multiple setup locations and distance and logistics thereof, rehearsal or performance with a singer or other instrumentalists (extra fee of $100 per hour for rehearsal), outdoors or indoors location, travel time, day of the week, time of day, peak or off season and any especially unique musical style requests or performance details.

Booking and Contract Procedures
Clients may mail their completed and signed contract enclosing a ½ deposit per the agreed total balance to secure their date and avoid double bookings, or they may scan their signed contract then email me back a pdf. file copy and then mail the ½ deposit separately which ever way is more convenient. When last minute bookings occur when mail and technology wont suffice to provide a client or myself the security that a completed contract with deposit provides to both parties, clients may remit cash payment to me upon arrival and be assured that my word and reputation are the most important aspect of my solo guitar business. I will show up!
